OUr Savior’s Lutheran Church

Our Savior’s Lutheran Church has weekly services on Sundays at 9:30 a.m. and programs throughout the week. OSLC is a balance of traditional and contemporary worship styles with programming focused on the arts, education, and social justice. For best access, use Creekside Commons Entry A.

 
 

SOUL FORUM “Live”

Soul Forum “Live” is an open conversational style gathering that invites the public to explore how each of us constructs the soul’s journey. Currently on break as it seeks a new facilitator, you can sign up for updates using the “Join Us” form at the bottom of the Podcast Website.

Mount Diablo Peace & Justice Center

Established 1969 in response to escalating war the Mt Diablo Peace & Justice Center is focused on peace-building and preventive measures to conflict. NPH USA

Nuestros Pequeños Hermanos (NPH) means “Our Little Brothers and Sisters” in Spanish. NPH USA transforms the lives of vulnerable children in Bolivia, the Dominican Republic, El Salvador, Guatemala, Haiti, Honduras, Mexico, Nicaragua, and Peru. Together, we help children overcome poverty and become productive, caring leaders in their own communities. Founded in 1954 by Father William Wasson, NPH is supporting nearly 7,000 children, both inside and outside our homes, ensuring they have a safe and nurturing place to live, an education, clothing, healthcare, and a strong family support system. In addition, NPH’s St. Damien Pediatric Hospital employs more than 500 Haitians and is the only hospital wholly dedicated to pediatric and prenatal care in Haiti, a country of 11.5 million people.For best access use Creekside Commons Entry A. the Springstone School

Founded in 2002, The Springstone School, a Nonpublic School (NPS), serves students with executive function disorders that affect their ability to organize and prioritize information and to make meaningful social connections. They work with the belief that students will develop strategies for use in academic and social settings if they are part of a community that understands, accepts, and challenges them. scout Troop 200

Troop 200 was founded in January 2006 by five scouts who wanted to be part of a truly special troop with a renewed emphasis on the core scouting values of honesty, responsibility, and respect for others. Troop 200’s membership has grown to over 70 scouts and has developed a solid legacy of community service and commitment to scouting. For best access, use Creekside Commons Entry B. The Peter Pan foundation

 

The Peter Pan Foundation (PPF) is an inspiring, inclusive, philanthropic organization dedicated to teaching the importance of helping others. Through community service and the arts, the PPF touches countless lives while encouraging the importance of authenticity, acceptance and outreach. Through PPF, thousands of participants have been part of philanthropic endeavors resulting in thousands of dollars in donations to community causes. These donations are partnered with a support of the health, mental health, and well-being of those who need us most… including our participants. We are dedicated to forever finding ways to always be-and to help inspire the world to be-the most giving, loving, inclusive, anti-racist, creative, inspiring safe space it can be for all. PPF is about making magic in the world by realizing that -with all of the incredible, strong, passionate, radiant, inspiring people on this planet- the magic is already there.

WomenSing

Founded in 1965, WomenSing is an auditioned chorus renowned for its vibrant and beautifully blended sound. Performances include rewarding collaborations with major performing groups and the finest Bay Area musicians, and special choral events to help raise awareness of community and global issues. Daughters of Norway

Uniting into a sisterhood, women who wish to preserve Norwegian heritage; maintain among members a knowledge of the history, culture and language of Norway; and build a strong support system and bond of friendship within the sisterhood. Community Supported Agriculture & Fisheries

CSA, or Community-Supported Agriculture, is a business model based on a mutually beneficial relationship between a farm and the people who consume the food they produce. Consumers are able to connect directly with a local grower, subscribing to regular deliveries of the farm’s latest harvest. Members can subscribe to different subscription sizes and delivery frequencies. Here on the west coast we are also able to support a Community Supported Fishery (CSF) too! Creekside Commons is happy to host these programs to make supporting small local farms easy and convenient. For best access, use Creekside Commons Entry B. Riverdog Farm CSA

Riverdog is a diversified organic farm located in Capay Valley that makes weekly deliveries to the Creekside Commons Kitchen for community members to enjoy seasonal vegetables, pastured meats & eggs.

Frog Hollow Farm CSA

Frog Hollow is a diversified organic farm in Brentwood, Ca specialializing in fruit. CSA members enjoy 3-5 varieties of fruit every week along with farm fresh baked foods, preserves, honey and regional grocery items from Caifornia farms & ranches. Monday pick up at Creekside Commons Kitchen.

Real Good Fish

Real Good Fish is a community of fishermen and seafood lovers sharing the bounty of our local ocean by eating a diversity of species caught using sustainable catch methods, which ultimately brings greater health to all – the fishermen, the seafood lovers and the ocean itself.
